I bought the “new” Spoon album this weekend… (Yes, I know it was released in July). I’ve been listening to “The Underdog” since I received it on Salon.com’s now defunct Song-of-the-Day podcast and thought enough of that particular song to purchase the entire record. It was also on sale, so that helped.
I’ll give it a full review soon, but I’m currently in the process of creating a Power Point presentation for my class tomorrow.
However, the one tidbit I will mention, is Jon Brion produced “The Underdog”, but that only, so the album has this one strange disconnect in the middle which I haven’t quite come to terms with yet. More soon.
