Everyone loves Iron Maiden. How could you not? Some love early pre-Dickinson Maiden. Some love Dickinson. (Nobody really loves post-Dickinson Maiden.) Most Maiden fans don’t really love Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, which is kind of later Dickinson. I have to admit, I do. I can’t really find a reliable source, but back in the late ’80s, I had heard that the album title refers to the mystical claim that the 7th son of a 7th son has magical powers – i.e., is a warlock. (Perhaps I’ll feature the band Warlock next week!). Anyway, here’s my perennial silly song to sing at practice, “Can I Play With Madness?”
