Roll Rumble?
Yes.
Are you afraid of the Rumble curse?
No.
Do you plan on doing anything special or different for your set?
Not really. Just kick out the hits. We don’t play music as much as we kill with audio.
How far do you think you’ll progress in the competition?
It does not matter. Frankly we’re just flattered that we were asked. It’s nice to get a little nod from those in charge once in a while.
What’s your bet on who will make it to the finals?
I’m not a betting man.
I always loved this line: “I equate gambling with being an asshole” – Rollins.
Are there any bands you would have picked for the line up this year that
didn’t get in?
I’m a huge fan of a lot of Boston and New England bands. Here’s a taste of who I think kicks a lot ass and deserves some recognition: Mouth Sewn Shut, Refuse Resist, Ramming Speed, Bloodwitch, Fruit Salad, 26 Beers, Superpower, Born of Thunder, Motherboar, The Conversions (although they broke up recently), Payload!, and the list goes on and on and on…
What band is your favorite past winner?
Ugh, too many to choose from. I’m a big fan of The Campaign For Real Time, Reverend Glasseye, Jake Brennan… Darkbuster and Waltham are both two of my favs. Although, Waltham was a runner up. I could go on forever.
What past competitor do you think was most robbed?
CRACKTORCH!
Any final words or smacktalk before the battle begins?
We’re just going to do what we always do: gear up for global destruction and deliver the goods.
