The Michael J. Epstein Memorial Library debuts at Radio to celebrate Edrie’s birthday w/ Walter Sickert and the ARmy of BRoken TOys and Rick Berlin

Awesome flyer by Walter Sickert

We are extremely excited to invite you all to join us in celebrating Broken Toy Edrie’s birthday with us at the awesome new rock club Radio in Somerville!

We’ve been really enjoying seeing shows at Somerville’s newest rock club, Radio. (Lots of videos on Sophia’s Rock Beat!) I even got my photo taken for The Herald’s feature on Somerville coming up in the rock ranks…right in front of Rocky – it even looks like he’s punching me in the face! Needless to say, we are very excited to play at Radio for the very first time and with some of our favorite artists no less!

In Edrie’s words:

Dear All,

This is MY REAL birthday and I do hope you can come! It is a SIGNIFICANT birthday AND the TOys won’t be playing too many rock shows in 2012 because of our theatre production –

I’ve picked two of my absolute fave acts to entice you and I am really really excited for the show!!!

So please please come and eat cupcakes with me!

Awesome, loungy, introspective intense tunes. A little Tom Waits, a lot of personality and intensity.
