Sophia’s Rock Beat: Rock ‘n’ Roll Rumble Night 3: Eddie Japan, Supermachine, Glenn Yoder, Blackbutton

Night Three! of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Rumble! Night One recap! Night Two Recap! We are at the half-way point and at the customary “day of rest” which is much needed for everyone! ahh! Also, last night was Ugly-Tie Tuesday so there was much mayhem with that. Check out the facebook page for the photographic evidence!

Eddie Japan – soared their way to a win last night. holy cow. and pulled out all the stops for thier last song, “A Town Called Nowhere” – bringing up 3 strings in addition to 5-piece band and 2 back-up singers…so good, so classy:

Supermachine brought the heavy! my ribcage was shaking:

Glenn Yoder and the Western States – artful rootsy songs, been a fan of Glenn’s songwriting since he was fronting the Cassavettes:

Blackbutton – my one regret is not having recorded their cover of Nirvana’s “Breed” – it was exciting and pumped everybody up…dirty trio:
