The Motion Sick is the band of the day on Spin Magazine’s website (Spin.com) today (I believe it will run until Monday morning). This is pretty exciting for us and we’d love for you to help us out. If you visit Spin’s site, they have a way to grade us (from A+ to F) and a board for comments about us. We’d really appreciate if you could take the time to go there and both provide a grade (preferably a high grade) and post a comment about us (anything really and it can be brief) on the board there under the “comments” section. They make selections from this pool of bands for a featured band of the month. The band of the month gets good exposure on the web and free placement in the magazine. I believe we would need several thousand “grades” and several hundred comments.
In addition to the current feature, it seems that we will be included as one of 5 bands featured in a Microsoft ad in the next issue (March) of Spin.
We have also now scheduled our CD release show 3/16 at TT’s. We have started selling tickets and it’s somewhat important for you to purchase tickets directly from us if you plan to go. If you’re very nice to us, we may even give a discount.
