Hello friends,
We’ve got some exciting things in store for The Motion Sick in 2007, so keep your e-mail reader open over the next few weeks!
You may still have time to vote in the annual Noise (Boston’s rock periodical) poll. Please go to: http://www.thenoise-boston.com/poll2006.asp and vote for us in the following categories: Best New Artist, CD (Her Brilliant Fifteen), and Best Keyboardist Jane Allard.
The Motion Sick closes out 2006 with another accolade. We made the official entry list for the 49th annual Grammys. We are entry 60 in Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal (Category #7): http://themotionsick.com/themotionsick/press/Grammys.pdf
It’s rumored that the Grammy committee had to do a coin toss to decide between our song “Satellite” and Black-Eyed Peas’ “My Humps” for the 5th slot of the final nominees and the coin landed humps-side up. Regardless, it’s wonderful to make the list (only 85 songs in the whole universe made it this year).
We’ve also got some amazing shows coming up!

Our good friends from our nation’s capital, The Roosevelt, are trucking all the way over to do their first-ever Boston show! We’re going to make sure they have a good time!
