Gravehaven

Are you excited to be participating in the 31st WBCN Rock ‘n’ Roll Rumble?

Of course! We’re honored to be a part of the whole thing.

Are you afraid of the Rumble curse?

Terrified. If we win the band will implode on itself like a dying star.

Do you plan on doing anything special or different for your set?

We have a few tricks up our sleeve… a couple instruments you don’t see too often in a rock band. Its an event, and we’re going to treat it that way.

How far do you think you’ll progress in the competition?

We will ride into the sunset on white stallions after our triumphant
victory.

What’s your bet on who will make it to the finals?

It will be between Gravehaven and The Lights Out in an epic battle that will shape the true meaning of bravery and honor.

Are there any bands you would have picked for the line up this year that didn’t get in?

We just played at Great Scott a week ago with Growlers, Talk Modern and Izzi Creo, and all three bands were great. Its tough, I’m increasingly impressed with the amount of talent pouring out of the Boston area lately. If I was in charge the Rumble would have 300 bands and last 6 months.

What band is your favorite past winner?

The Gentlemen. I had the honor of running their merch table a few years ago.

What past competitor do you think was most robbed?

Well, being a huge fan of Cave In, I can’t fathom why they wouldn’t win.

Any final words or smacktalk before the battle begins?

We are young, heartache to heartache we stand
No promises, no demands
Love is a battlefield
