1. Where/When are you playing?
We’re playing an official showcase at Emos Annex at 12 AM on Saturday,
March 21st with our friends The Riverboat Gamblers, Hot Legs..the new band from the singer of the Darkness, Enter Shikari, It’s Not Not from Spain, and Dirtblonde from the UK.
2. How did you get your SXSW gig?
We asked and the great people at SXSW worked it out. Thanks Craig and
Darin and Cathy!
3. Is this your first time at SXSW?
Yes, it’s something we’ve always wanted to do.I think it’s a great way for young bands to get in front of a lot of people.
4. What do you hope to achieve by playing at SXSW?
To play in front of a different crowd, hopefully make some new Street
Dogs fans, check out some cool new bands, and to play a killer show
on stage.
5. Are you attending any of the actual conference? Are you attending
other shows, what shows/bands are you looking forward to?
We are not planning to attend the conference as we are on tour all the
way up until the day of our showcase. We’ll only be there for one night, but we’re definitely excited to see the Gamblers and maybe check out a couple bands late night.
6. Do you expect that Boston will have a strong showing this year?
Not sure what other Boston bands are playing..I know Roll The Tanks
who are originally from Boston, MA are playing. Great band, if you get
a chance at SXSW you should check them out!
