The Minus Scale brought the emo to us straight from New Hampshire. They had a chorus of girls in the front row singing along to every song.
The New Hampshire invasion continued with a tight set from Gravehaven, the singer had some serious screaming skills, and played interesting parts on his Korg.
Apple Betty was up next and they definitely put the “fun” in the Rumble. They had kazoos and toilet paper rolls, songs about Alaska and Tennessee. They also had the cutest fans of the night, who were right up front at the start of their set waving signs and spent the rest seriously getting down.
Eksi Ekso finished up the night with their atmospheric shoegazing. Two violins, two guitars, keyboards/trumpet, bass and drums created their lush arrangements.
