This looks like it could be some fun self-parodying. I think Bruce Campbell is pretty funny, though I have not been so blown away by his recent films (Bubba Ho-Tep, The Man With the Screaming Brain). The Evil Dead series is, of course, great! Ted Raimi (brother of Sam Raimi) also stars in this one (and all of the other ones). The three of them did some great work together in the Xena and Hercules TV shows. I guess Sam is now too big-time to work on stuff like this after directing all of the Spiderman movies.
