Rumble 2009 Questions:
Are you excited to be participating in the 31st WBCN Rock ‘n’ Roll Rumble?
Of course! We’re all really psyched for it. This is going to be our first year in the Rumble and we can’t wait to find out what it’s all about.
Are you afraid of the Rumble curse?
We’re not really superstitious people
Do you plan on doing anything special or different for your set?
Well, we figured that doing what we do got us here, so hopefully doing what we do will get us through.
How far do you think you’ll progress in the competition?
A lot of times they don’t even let us into the clubs we’re booked at because of our ages, so hopefully we’ll at least get through the door.
What’s your bet on who will make it to the finals?
$100 on North Carolina and UCONN.
Are there any bands you would have picked for the line up this year that didn’t get in?
All the local bands I know and like are in it. Except for maybe The Gobshites, have they ever been in?
What band is your favorite past winner?
I would have to go with The Neighborhoods. We played with them in Newport once. They’re a great band, and a great bunch of guys.
What past competitor do you think was most robbed?
I really don’t know enough about the past years’ competitions to answer that.
Any final words or smacktalk before the battle begins?
