Help send The Grownup Noise off on their 16-state/23-city tour right by showing some hometown love at The Middle East UP on Friday, June 24th.
Their coming tour is also part of the band’s continued efforts towards “green” touring, as their van runs on recycled fryalator oil that they collect on the road.
The Grownup Noise is closing in on five years together, and they have often been compared with other indie bands such as Stars, Death Cab for Cutie and Ra Ra Riot. The Grownup Noise’s music plays with song form, style (from stomp-along gypsy rock to sober ballads) and instrumentation (including cello and marimba) mixed into their indie pop tunes, yielding perfectly stunning results.
