Are you excited to be participating in the 31st WBCN Rock ‘n’ Roll Rumble?
Totally. The 31st rumble is gonna be off the hook. It’s gonna make the first 30 rumbles pale by comparison. In fact, I think this rumble is gonna be the rumbliest rumble in rumble history.
Are you afraid of the Rumble curse?
wait…what?…there’s a curse?…oh, you mean the whole doomed to
mediocracy thing?…nah, if we win we’re gonna give all our money to charity (like the Bartender’s Awareness Fund, or the Shiny New Gibsons For Everyone In The Band Fund) so as to protect ourselves…
Do you plan on doing anything special or different for your set?
kissing ass and taking blame! owww! rock’n’roll…what do you mean that’s not how it goes?
How far do you think you’ll progress in the competition?
all the way baby…nah, just kidding…I’d be happy to finish in the top 25.
What’s your bet on who will make it to the finals?
the celtics are looking pretty strong…but honestly, i don’t know much about the other bands this year…as far as names go, i think i’d like to see the dirty truckers and trucker mouth going head to head in the end…maybe they’ll join forces to become “dirty trucker mouth”…which somehow is ten times grosser sounding than either name on it’s own.
Are there any bands you would have picked for the line up this year that didn’t get in?
burning streets are one of my favorite locals right now, but they’re young, so maybe this wasn’t the year…if they’re not in it next year though, i’m gonna be ripshit.
What band is your favorite past winner?
probably darkbuster…though can anyone really “win” the rumble, really?
What past competitor do you think was most robbed?
I don’t even need to look at the list…stray bullets in 05…those guys were AWESOME.
Any final words or smacktalk before the battle begins?
yeah, if it comes down to us and the new alibis in the final, I will totally take a dive if their bassist agrees to make out with me afterwards…just want to put that out there.
