The Motion Sick: It’s the end of the tour as we know it and I feel fine…

The tour is over. We had an awesome time, met great people, dealt with a few frustrations pretty gracefully, and just generally experienced things that I will remember for the rest of my life. You can’t beat that.

First, I really am glad to be able to share this experience with an awesome group of people and I really appreciate all of the personal and musical contributions everyone makes. It makes this band what it is. With any one of these people missing, it would feel like a really different experience. So thanks to all of the band kids for being awesome!

There is no way we could have organized this tour and booked all of these shows without the help of Sophia. She does an amazing amount of behind-the-scenes work for us and it is a huge piece of what allows us to undertake a journey like this.

Along the way, a lot of people generously helped us with promotions, accommodations, and just general support. We met a lot of very kind people who took us in, gave us a place to stay, shower, and just generally regroup. The other guys have thanked these people by name, so I won’t repeat that list, but I will say that we’d love to have any and all of these people visit Boston!

Anyway, it’s good to be home. Thanks to everyone who came out to see us! We hope to visit you all again soon.
