Cinema Somerville August Thursdays outdoor film series – Comedy, Sci-Fi, Horror, and Non-Fiction

Cinema Somerville Outdoor short film series at the Somerville Community Growing Center

Cinema Somerville is collaborating with Smart Space and Launch Over to present an August Movie Night series at the Somerville Community Growing Center. Each Thursday night event will include the screening of several short films and end with a Q&A with the filmmakers.  These will take place every Thursday night throughout August, starting at 7:30 PM with a BYO Picnic and 8:00 PM (dusk) screening.

We’re also still taking submissions, but making decisions very soon…

About the Collaborators:

Cinema Somerville is a project of Somerville Community Access Television (SCATV). It builds community in Somerville through collaborations with community organizations and residents by presenting free public film screenings at various locations in Somerville.

Smart Space helps to provide and preserve work-only spaces for artists and makers in order to maintain and encourage Somerville’s creative vitality, diverse artist population, and unique character into the future.

Launch Over is the Somerville-based film, music, and troublemaking production company run by Sophia Cacciola and Michael J. Epstein.
